George Lucas Continues to Destroy My Childhood Memories (2 More Star Wars Movies)
George, why can't you just stop?
You've proven already that you cannot write or direct. The original Star Wars was a fluke. The next two were good because you were smart enough to get talented people to do the heavy lifting.
Now you've made three films on your own and the results have been less than spectacular. There is absolutely no reason to prove that you can still make a good movie by making two more Star Wars films.
If you want to impress people with your film making talents the only way to do it is by creating an entirely new property, not abusing the great franchises of your past. If you are simply after more money, stop. You already have more then your fair share, honestly. If you're just bored, stop by my place, we'll play a round of golf.
This letter may sound mean spirited, but it isn't. I still like you, George, even respect you for the things you've done, the technology you've pioneered. Please don't spoil that.
Your friend,
Jay Alan
